Following the completion of her bachelor’s degree at The Juilliard School, Yonezaki is pursuing her master’s degree with Masao Ka- wasaki. She has performed in mas- terclasses for Pamela Frank and Frans Helmerson while at Juilliard, where she is also a member of the orchestra. Carrying a deep admi- ration for collaboration, she has a strong affinity to double concertos and chamber music works. Her most recent international ap- pearance was as a selected Young Artist at the Rome Chamber Music Festival in Italy, where she gave concerts at the Palazzo Barberini. She has spent several summers in Austria as a student of Michael 2019 FALL PREVIEW Frischenschlager, where she has had the pleasure of collaborating with pianists Veronika Kopjova and Aki Maeda. She has performed for many galas, including the Fritz Kre- isler Gala in Vienna and the Boston Philharmonic Rising Stars Gala. Nathan Meltzer, who won the Young Artist Competition in 2016 and is now a rising star in his own right, will return in March to per- form the Brahms Triple Concerto. Last October, Meltzer was award- ed the Totenberg-Ames Stradivari- us. Local audiences will be able to hear about the story and Nathan perform on this instrument. Umi Garrett (piano musician from Juil- liard) Leland Ko (cello student at Princeton) will perform with Na- than. The performances take place on Saturday, March 29 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in New York City and Sunday, March 30 at Pascack Valley Regional High School Auditorium.
