PRESENT TEAM RECRUITMENT
AND INVESTITURE (2018-19)
Date: 3rd, 4th August, 2018. Old Library, Admin Block.
The journey of Artista this year began with recruitment. The EB rolled out coordinator forms open for
2nd and 3rd years on 1st August, 2018 with the below questions.

Describe one of your art works? (Related to sketches, paintings, crafts)

Why do you want to be an ARTISTA Co-ordinator?
4.
Have you attended any of ARTISTA’s events? If Yes, what was your experience?

Are you a volunteer/co-ordinator/member of any other club/hold a responsibility in class? If yes ,
which one? (Yes/No)
These questions were intentional as the EB were looking for potential art work force with passion and
commitment. The response was huge. We had to screen more than 100 applications. It gave the EB a
glimpse of craze from GNITians for art!
The screening was done and candidates were asked to report on 3rd and 4th August, 2018 based on
their convenience. EB selected the team of future Artista with interviews based on their interest, ,
commitment, eagerness to learn, knowledge about art, creativeness and communication skills along
with convincing skills. The team had their investiture along with Artista EB on 15Th August, 2018. The
Artista Logo was also revealed in the Independence Day Celebrations by Shri P. Subba Reddy
(Chairman, GNITS) and Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy (Principal, GNITS). A live Spray-Painting art exhibit was
conducted by K. Srithisha Reddy, President, Artista on the occasion.
