Introduction to Portraiture

This class is for artists who are looking to expand their hand-building skills in
clay and accurately depict facial features. In this class you will learn techniques
for making facial features, how to create a paper armature and sculpt a
small self-portrait. We will review the human skull, facial muscles and planes,
learn marking points, taking measurements and reference photographs as
well as examine past masters in portraiture and how facial features can be
incorporated into products.
