Enhance the handmade quality of your metal work by learning how to create
your own jewelry chains, jump rings, clasps, and fasteners. Make samples of
three to four different chain styles in copper, then create your own chains
using the techniques you have learned. You will have the option to create your
functional chains from copper or upgrade to silver.

Multi Process Casting

In this class you will explore several different styles of sand casting while
learning how to cast both 2D and 3D designs. You will begin working with
pre-made shapes, then work into carving linoleum to cast your own design.
You will have the opportunity to create a more complicated lost foam piece,
all while learning the steps from mold making to finishing your casting.

This technique captures transparent enamel in a floating metal
frame, perfect for a pair of earrings! Learn to saw out a frame,
and wet pack enamel into the frame to create colorful light
capturing earrings. No prior jewelry or enameling skills are needed.
