Lost Wax Casting

In this class, you will learn to create vulcanized rubber molds from which you
will make multiple wax forms to cast jewelry pieces. This class will also cover
casting clean up. Some jewelry skills are recommended, but not required.

Hobby Welding

Learn the basics of cutting metal, tacking pieces of metal together, gas welding,
and MIG welding in this hands-on Hobby Welding class. With a focus on safety and
tool operation, you’ll explore different types of equipment and techniques while
creating your own decorative pieces of art. Helmets and gloves are provided;
students should bring their own safety glasses and wear long pants with closed-
toed shoes. Open to all skill levels. Note: This class will be taught at West High
School. Registration fee includes supplies.
