What is a Healthy
Weight?
Body Mass Index (BMI) uses a person’s
height and weight to measure body fat.
Too much body fat may lead to increased
health risks, including an increased risk of
being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
Note that BMI is not the most reliable
measurement after age sixty-five as
individuals lose muscle mass as they age 7 .
Consult with your doctor to find out if you
are in a healthy weight range.
Calculate Yours:
BMI = weight in kg/height in metres or

smallest ones, can help you achieve and
maintain a healthy weight and improve
your overall health. Eat well, be active and
be yourself.
