Kittens In The Closet

This is Peanut today! She is thirteen years old and she is still going strong. She is catching some rays on top of our outdoor furniture.
FUN FACTS # 3: In this painting titled " Kittens in the Closet ", I included our cat Peanut. Peanut is highlighted inside the yellow heart of this painting. She has been our family pet for many years and she was born on our farm in California. My daughter Jennifer just loves this cat. When Peanut was a kitten, Jennifer would dress her up in doll clothes and Peanut would just love it. The picture above is Peanut as a kitten dressed up in doll clothes. She would love the attention! As a grown cat she had a great adventure that led her to our home in Arizona. She snuck aboard our trailer with all our furniture from our house and we didn ' t realize that she had done this until we untied the trailer in Arizona. We found her curled up in my husband ' s recliner chair( her favorite chair) as snug as a bug in a rug. We were so surprised to find her and now it a funny story to tell to our friends.
