stood up and gave a big applause to all the musicians who were in the orchestra and the conductor. Some parts triggered my emotions very much, because one small piece looked a lot like the piece that was played on my grandfathers funeral. I didn’t burst into tears, but it definitely made me think of him and I thought of all the good memories I had with him. After the piece I was quite curious about the background of it and now I understand why it mend so much to the soldiers and citizens during the Second World War in the Soviet Union. Before the piece, I thought it was going to be very boring. Luckily the symphony didn’t live up to my expectations and I enjoyed the biggest part of it. I was always prejudiced about classical concerts and classical music. Now I have learned that if you understand the context of the piece it can be quite amusing. After all, I think this whole experience was worth, but I wouldn’t go to one of these performances myself in my free time because it takes too long and it isn’t very close to home. The symphony was really well written with slow and fast parts which I enjoyed.
