October is Arts & Humanities Month
ART FROM THE HEART
H
eld each year during October, Art from the Heart is a com-
munity-wide celebration of the arts held in honor of National Arts
& Humanities month. Art from the Heart brings awareness to our
community about the wonderful opportunities in the arts that are
available.
As part of the celebration, the Arts & Culture Alliance
works to bring and promote the following events:
The Mayor’s Awards in the Arts
6-8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 9
The Hagadone Event Center | 900 S. Floating Green Drive
