and interactive quality of the event . She feels that each “ paint out ” she does , makes her a stronger artist . This is certainly indicative in the work she produces . Sue Tyler liked the fact that it was a small group of artists that she got to know and gain new perspectives from . Cindy Gillett had similar comments , especially enjoying the unique non-competitive nature of the event . The owners of Combine all echoed good comments on the paint out and subsequent June exhibition . Good sales and great interaction with the artists has everyone interested in a second paint out event in 2024 . With a good feeling of success from both the artists ’ standpoint , as well as the gallery , plans are in the works for a second year ! Plans for the next event include a few modifications , such as a longer painting time , more interaction with local painters and demos in the downtown and gallery areas . The best benefits of Fresh Air — Fresh Paint are seeing these artists come together , learn and share with the community and to now have a local gallery that is excited to participate in a big way , offering a month-long show space !
