I have struggled to find restaurants that really impress in the Spokane Valley. There are a few exceptions and Cottage Cafe is definitely one of them! Their cot- tage fries were worth the 30 minute wait for our table. I loved their “BTA Omelet” made with bacon, tomato, and avocado, as well as their “French Toast Special.” The “French Toast Special” is a great deal for a full breakfast. They are open from 7am-2pm. You can find them located in the cutest little cottage in the Valley. Be prepared to wait for 20-30 minutes on a weekend, but like I said, it’s worth it if you’re looking for a great breakfast in the Spokane Valley! 5. Cottage Cafe 6902 E. Located on Perry Street, they specialize in fresh pressed juice and acai bowls. Their space is gorgeous and bright thanks to the large windows lining their building. Their acai bowls are delicious—so many whole- some, healthy ingredients go into each of their juices. The Wellness Tree is a great option if you are looking for a light breakfast with zero guilt. If you go on a Saturday morning you’ll often find customers who are trying to cure their weekend hangover. The menu items at The Wellness Tree aren’t full of unnatural fillers and extra sugar like 56 ART CHOWDER MAGAZINE
