These are a few of the major buzzwords in the food industry today.
A cultural shift in our society’ s values concerning food has begun. People are starting to move away from convenience and pre-packaged foods that are high in fat and sugar content and loaded with preservatives and pesticides in favor of fresh, raw, healthy, chemical-free foods. The more knowledge that we, as a nation, gain about where our food comes from, the bigger the push for local, sustainable, and organic meats, fruits, grains, and vegetables.
