Skipping ahead to high school there was one artist who inspired him , a classmate who did the yearbook covers and other things for the class . Krogle liked what he was doing and imagined it was where he himself would like to be . He wanted people to recognize his skills , and he wanted to be able to do something for them that would give them joy in their lives . This solidified his path .
That path led him to a degree in art . He went to school at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles , one of the top art schools in the area . About halfway through his studies Uncle Sam called him to serve . He began his military service in the California National Guard and ended up a Vietnam War veteran with a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star .
By the time he completed his tour of duty in the military all of his classmates at Chouinard were gone . “ It was kind of like going to sleep for a year and a half while I was in the
