Pete
& Belle’s
Pete & Belle’s is the closest place on this side of the Mississippi
that you can get ice cream made with real Wisconsin cream. I was
very pleasantly surprised by Pete & Belle’s. They offer 48 rotating
flavors! 48! Their ice cream is made with thick Wisconsin cream.
They share their space with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory on
Argonne in the Spokane Valley.
Their most popular flavor…of course, “Salted Caramel,” but they
call it “this s*** just got serious”. It is made with sea salt, fudge,
and cashews. Another favorite is their “Zanzibar Chocolate,” made
with three types of cocoa. It tastes like pure brownie batter without
the salmonella risk. Pete & Belle’s even has some caffeinated fla-
vors. I tried the “Iced Latte Da” and it was much stronger than your
typical coffee ice cream. A flavor that really wowed me was their

“Blue Moon.” It is made with fruit loops and tastes just
like Post’s Fruit Loop cereal milk. This flavor creation
is genius! It is a kid favorite because of its bright blue
color.
Another reason Pete & Belle’s stands out, is they of-
fer dipped waffle cones in chocolate and sprinkles.
These make for a really pretty dessert. For all of you
black licorice lovers, they even have a flavor for you.
Last summer, they introduced new flavors like root
beer float, lemon meringue pie and peach, and I can’t
wait to see what flavor creations they are stirring up
for this summer. They can make any of their flavors
into a shake, malt, sundae, or banana split. They also
do custom-made ice cream cakes for your next special
occasion!
