COMMUNITY EVENTS
Rock painting has become so popular
that the craze stretches worldwide. The
Hayden Arts Commission has held
multiple rock painting events throughout
the community in the last few years. We
have seen a great turnout of all ages and
look forward to continuing to offer this
free event.
When the Hayden Arts Commission
initially partnered with the Missoula
Children’s Theatre to bring a performing
arts opportunity to the youth in our
community, we hoped for a good turnout
and interest. The result was phenomenal
but the best part was the feedback we
received from the participants and
their parents/guardians. The Missoula
Children’s Theatre is a fantastic program
that we are excited to bring back to our
community in 2020 for the third year.
On November 5, 2019 the Commission
held its inaugural 5x5 Walk Away with
Art Event. This was a fundraiser that
benefited the Hayden Arts Commission
as well as the artists that participated.
HAYDEN ART GALLERY
In the lobby of Hayden City Hall, the
Hayden Art Gallery features local
artists. Each quarter a new featured
artist displays their artwork for non-
commission sales.
The Commission is always looking for
artists to feature. We would love to see
your work!
