from several other spaces in town . “ So many spaces just want cool art on their walls .” She often gets sales by rotating her work in and out of local breweries . This kind of warm reception has been very impactful in her career and resulted in a lot of collaboration and fun art displays around the city .
Now that her name is becoming better known locally , Christina has taken the opportunity to participate in the creative enterprise program offered by Terrain Spokane . The Creative Enterprise Program is a 12-week intensive class offered to local makers and artists . They help participants build business plans and take their art careers to the next level through coaching , classes , and peer to peer learning . With her sales picking up , Christina has been in a position to seriously consider “ What do I want out of this , and how do I get there ? I ’ d just kind of been rolling with it .”
So what does the future hold for Christina Deubel and her striking artwork ? Currently , she ’ s working on branching out beyond the Northwest , and into the national level . She ’ s working on expanding her print selection to ensure her art and love for nature and adventure are accessible to a wide variety of budgets . Her dream is to spend time in her van with her art and her paints , bouncing from show to show around the country , no doubt enjoying all kinds of scenery and adventures along the way .
