In the ten years she ’ s been working as a full time artist , Christina has been very active in the arts community in Spokane . She ’ s used her skills in marketing and event planning many times over the years to gather artists together and put on events to promote artists and help the local art community come together — through huge shows at the Liberty Building — as well as shows and events at the gallery she used to own in the Perry district .
She says she loves the Spokane art community , and has always felt very supported , especially when it comes to her connection with the Liberty Building . Christina started keeping a studio space in this historic downtown building early on in her career , and credits that , and her job managing the art shows there , as a large factor in her becoming heavily involved in the arts scene . When she met the owner , he loved her work , and welcomed her with open arms . She ’ s had a similar reaction
