DEEP LAB RETROSPECTIVE MARAL POURKAZEMI
Biography Maral believes that design has the potential to make relevant topics accessible to ultimately communicate information more effectively . She ’ s been leading the design team of an NGO , then founded her own design consultancy whilst co-founding a global dataviz conference and collaborating at Deep Lab .
Talk Deep Lab is a collaborative group of cyberfeminist researchers , artists , writers , engineers , and cultural producers . Our interests are diverse , and we do not agree on everything . Some of our research includes privacy , surveillance , code , art , social hacking , race , capitalism , anonymity , the infrastructures of the 21st century and useful skills in tangible situations . This talk will be about projects created by Deep Lab members .
