Strategy Aroostook County Tourism invites all people to visit Maine ’ s Aroostook County , however , the region boasts specific strengths in outdoor recreation , culture , and agriculture . The region is primarily a drive destination , but Presque Isle International Airport and bus services are other ways people come to The County . In 2023 Aroostook County welcomed 332,400 visitors of which 33 % were from other parts of Maine and 17 % were from New Brunswick and Quebec . ACT focuses its advertising placements from Lubec , Maine to Syracuse , New York to Baltimore Maryland . Ad content and type deliver season activitybased messages targeted to families with an interest in the advertised topic .
ACT deploys an always-on digital marketing campaign that includes Google AdWords , Google Display Ads , Facebook Ads , Instagram Ads , and Pinterest Ads . This always-on strategy pulls viewers into the www . visitaroostook . com website where they find deeper information on the activity , event , or destination they initially viewed in the paid ad . The goal of marketing repetition is to create familiarity and educated awareness of The County as a great place to visit to relax and explore .
Marketing layers of the four-season marketing campaign include marketing emails , organic and paid social media , broadcast and OTT marketing , print and advertorial ad buys , tradeshows and fulfillment , photography and content creation , and more . Organic social media is a singular role of the four-season marketing campaign promoting the region , however , it is the most visible component to the residents of The County .
