Social media influencers often appeal to travel marketing because they appear to offer validation and third-party endorsement places, experiences, and visual demonstrations of a region. ACT works with influencers by tagging accounts on social media, collaborating on content, helping them navigate unique attractions and distinctives of Aroostook through connecting their work to Aroostook businesses, organizations, and opportunities. Accounts engaged in this period represent a broad scope of work and relationships include: @ rubysontheroad, @ katiezarilli, @ mainetheway, @ mymaine _ media, @ capshore, @ theDowneastCowboy,@ Mymaineguidelife
ACT selected Katie Zarrili for a paid project to produce three vertical format videos relevant to southern Aroostook, Central Aroostook, and the St. John Valley. This content was well-received and is the‘ mostviewed’ and‘ most-interaction’ content for the year on Instagram alone. This project was met with praise and increased pride of Aroostook business owners. This evergreen content will be reformatted to be embed into itinerary content on visitaroostook. com or YouTube shorts to extend its relevance and shelf life.

ACT continued fulfillment responsibilities with the highest level of attention. ACT partners with NMDC staff to operate the toll-free hotline, visitor hotline, email inquiries, and the mailing of fulfillment packages directly to inquiring visitors. The density and frequency of inquiries depend on the season and marketing campaign; it is reasonable to assume 50 fulfillment packages are mailed every two weeks. Nearly 2,000 fulfillment packets were mailed in this period, up nearly 70 % from the previous year. This is due to the new visitaroostook. com streamlining CTA requests for the free guide to be mailed and better synchronization of paid digital ads hitting visitors in repetition.
ACT now maintains a library of eight print marketing materials for distribution to all eight MTA Visitor Information Centers, five Aroostook chambers of commerce, and customer-facing businesses / points of interest that meet a high level of customer service( such as hotels, the Fort Kent Block House Information Center, Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge, etc.). New fulfillment areas in this period include Portland
