SUGA's quiet love for his brothers does not stop there. He can be seen committing small gestures of kindness throughout their Bangtan Bombs and RUN! BTS episodes. Don't think, though, that these come with no swag attached. Remembering a time SUGA gave him a gift, RM recalls, "He threw it at me and said, 'It came.' Then he left". SUGA can also be seen sharing water bottles with the rest of BTS, but one trait stands out: he never looks at their faces when he passes it. When asked about this, SUGA said, "I got this trait from ° 0 my f athe1 . He used to take Cat e of us quietly; I thought it was cool". Spreading his love to ARMY seems to be a bit easier for SUGA. Though not always the first member to extend finger hearts or show aegyo (OH.il), SUGA makes sure ARMY knows how he feels about their support. While preparing for BTS on Stage: Epilogue back in 2016, SUGA took a moment out of his evening to send a message to ARMY "VVe have a concert tomo1°row," he said during a V Live video. "VVhile prepat 0 ing for the concert, I saw the past three years flash befo1°e my eyes. As I always say, not because BTS and SUGA are good, but thanks to otrr fans AR1\1Y, we can have a conce1°t in a big venue ... It's all thanks to ARMY". One does not even have to be ARMY to benefit from SUGA's love. During a fansign event on Sept 18, 2014, SUGA made a verbal promise to buy gogi (.I!.7 I; meat) for some fans in the future. A year later during a fan-star interview, a different fan reminded SUGA of this promise and asked when it would come true. SUGA responded by saying it would be for his 25th birthday, March 9, 2018. Sure enough, this past March, SUGA made gogi donations to several children's facilities in Daegu, including a foster home who revealed they received a phone call from Big Hit and later, first class Hanwoo beef arrived at the facility. Big Hit later confirmed that SUGA made Hanwoo donations to 39 different children's facilities in ARMY's name. The total cost is assumed to be around 20 million Korean won (more than $18,000). It is not hard to see the differences between SUGA and Min Yoongi. In the studio and on stage, he is all business. "VVhen we talk about stage concepts and stuff, I don't play around. I engage in them sincerely", he has said. Yet when the tensions of idol life have subsided, and the boys who have become BTS are just young men again, this menacing tiger turns into ARMY's "Li'I Meow Meow." It was this same appreciation that prompted SUGA to give a gift to ARMY for his birthday in 2015. When thinking how he wanted to express his heart to fans, SUGA came up with three gifts: a handwritten note, a polaroid picture of himself, and a transportation card loaded with W5,000. With some help from Jimin and V, SUGA prepared these gifts for 39 ARMYs, writing each note and address by hand before sending them to the recipients. 8
