growth over the years. With love as
the central idea of their latest musical
era, the Love Yourself series, the sep-
tet explored the different stages of love
through their artistry. From the ideal,
blooming romance in “DNA” to the loss
of identity and struggling through “Fake
Love” and finally, the “Epiphany” of
taking a note of one’s worth, BTS
reiterated that love goes beyond one
form. They exemplify the message daily
that love isn’t all about romance: love
is the friendship and brotherhood that
they share, love is their hard work - the
comfort they seek to provide ARMYs,
and love is the endless support and
encouragement ARMYs provide them
without second guessing.
Taking this into account, for this
issue of ARMY Magazine, we’ve
decided to take on the Herculean task
of attempting to answer the age-old
question: What is love? We’re going
to dive into the concept of love and
explore it as a whole: its many facets
and how BTS has used their music to
convey different messages about the
progression of love over the course
of their many albums, mixtapes, EPs,
and singles.
So, ARMYs - lay in your comfort
corner in your favourite PJs, dive into
that tub of ice cream as you link your
ARMY fam to our edition and set out
to understand how love is beyond a
four letter word.
