ARMY Magazine - Monthly Issues ARMY Magazine ISSUE NO.2 - DEC 2018 | Page 64
More than that, their love for what they
do shone through above everything;
they had such determination to
continue performing, despite injuries
and exhaustion, and they had enough
dedication to their craft to have it
ever in the forefront of their minds
even in their downtime, like when
SUGA went instrument shopping or
when they quietly composed in their
rooms.
Despite there being less solo
interviews by the individual members
than there was in the YouTube
episodes, the documentary did
a laudable job in introducing the
member’s individuality to any non
ARMYs who might have watched.
From Jin’s dad jokes, to Yoongi’s
sassy wine sips, to Namjoon’s deep-
thinking philosophy and so much
more, we were all shown the human
side of the group.
Nevertheless, it was obvious through
and through that the movie was
just another message from BTS to
ARMY, particularly the ones who
had walked the flower path with
them the longest. The music shown
61
in the film was none of the recent
chart-toppers like “Fake Love”, but
rather older songs which, really, only
ARMY would be likely to recognize,
especially overseas where they don’t
have as many radio spins. Older, but
no less beloved songs, such as “Ma
City”, “21 Century Girl”, “2!3!”, “Sea”
and “Spring Day”.
The most memorable of these might
be “2!3!” which was sung by BTS on
stage, with ARMY able to be heard
singing along, and “Sea”, which was
a hidden track of LOVE YOURSELF:
Her, was orchestrated to be played
in the background.
