The septet continues with “Best of Me,” which wanders more into the electronic dance music area, with the song being co-produced by The Chainsmokers. “Dimple”, an all-vocal track, follows the topic and continues to reinforce the overall feeling of “Her”. BTS brings out funky, bass-driven, chill “Pied Piper” next, which turns out to be a vibey roast track dedicated to ARMYs. the first major milestone in the U.S. for the group in mid-2017, was already hinting at the new era of BTS. The group does a 180-turn with “MIC Drop”, which is a throwback to old-school hip-hop vibes backed up by trap elements. The track is somewhat of a flex on anyone that doubts BTS’ success. “Go Go” continues with trap elements, bringing a socially-conscious, “Skit: Billboard Music Awards Speech” head-bobbing track which brings awareness to how the current acts as a divider between the two generation is following the rule of sides of the album.
