Speaking of us being Dragonborn. As we are the last of our kind we are awesome enough to get special powers, we can learn ‘Dragon Shouts’. These are words of power and are gained by slaying the mythical beasts. There are 20 shouts in the game and each shout is 3 words.
We will get powers to send foes hurtling away from us from the force of our shout, another slows down time around us, some are spoken as a whisper to aid us in our stealthy approach, another teleports us from one place to the next. A good one that they have revealed is a shout that is the true name of an actual dragon and forces him to come to our aid in battle.
You scurry through the dim passage towards the glimmer of light at the end, and emerge into the cool sunlight near the mountains peak. There is no time to catch your breath. Your pursuer has not given up. The dragon has been circling and now he renews his assault. A ferocious melee ensues. His claws tear at you, his fiery breath singes. You shout a word of power, and the dragon seems to slow down momentarily as time shifts around you. You dive to the side and stab your blade up into the creature’s neck. It flails wildly, and finally collapses. Instantly, its body begins to combust, burning itself out from the inside. Your blood quickens and a glow of power suffuses you. Another soul brings you one step closer to Alduin.
Covering Elder Scrolls Skyrim has been great for me and I am really really excited for it to come out. The franchise is one of the best RPG’s I have ever played and reading up about it and looking at trailers and pictures has blown my mind away. The level of detail on EVERYTHING are amazing and the graphics have to compete with the best games in the world. RMY-Ac3dUd3
