1. What does being MVP mean to you?
It means I helped a bit and someone noticed.
2. Tell us about one of your favorite gaming moments.
First practice with the Playstation Army as it was called then. I had never played online. This was a revelation - I discovered the fun of gaming with friends.
3. Out of all the games you've played, which is the most memorable to you? Why?
Fallout New Vegas. It is one of the very few games I actually completed.
4. Being a Chief Technical Commander in the Console Army puts you into a leadership role. What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership is fundamentally the ability and willingness to set the stage for others to succeed. In this specific case, it means maintaining the site so our Console Army members can have a reliable platform to communicate and interact.
5. What words of inspiration can you offer the troops of Console Army?
Contribute. Any amount of time you can put in gets magnified when others build on it. Be bold. Try something new, do something you have never done. I had very little experience when I signed up as Squad Leader or as GFX team member.
Get involved. Console Army is run by volunteers who enjoy gaming with friends. There is always another job to be done, another game to startup, another tourney to organize. Volunteer to help.
Above all: have fun! Console Army is about gaming and friendship. Enjoy the company, show them who's the best gamer! (hint: it is not me - ask Nighthawks...)
