Campus News
Ousley Junior High will be a different school this year. While
the building looks the same from the outside, the inside has
undergone some exciting renovations. Some of the classrooms
and offices have been renovated to accommodate the
increase in the student body as a result of the consolidation of
Ferguson Junior High and Ousley Junior High campuses in
order to better serve our community.
The consolidation to become one campus, has been
the focus for both schools’ faculties for two years. The
teachers and staff have attended formal trainings and have
informally met for further planning. We are focused on a
smooth transition for our students, parents and community.
Both campuses, Ousley and Ferguson, have a long history
of success in the areas of athletics, academics and fine arts.
Coming together as one can only continue this lineage.
Students come as former Mustangs, Eagles, Blazers, Bobcats,
Firebirds and Wranglers. With a strong foundation, they
enter the doors becoming Panthers. Faculty is committed
to preparing them for success at the next level, be it Seguin
Cougars or Bowie Volunteers.
