Also , with the fall season comes overseed of the golf course which is scheduled for November 9th , 2020 . The reason we overseed is because the Bermudagrass begins to go dormant when soil temperatures drop below 55 degrees . The Ryegrass that we will overseed will give the golf course that great bright green pop in the winter time and creates a great playing surface . We will be overseeding the fairways and par 3 tee boxes with some slight changes to the amount of seed we put down from last year .
While our event calendar isn ’ t quite what we expected , we are still filling it up with COVID-19 friendly events that are properly social distanced and adhere to all CDC and local government guidelines .
UPCOMING EVENTS INCLUDE
Presidents / Solheim Cup

As always , the Safety and health of our residents , guests and staff is our priority as we navigate this new normal . As we start to make plans for peak season here in Florida , COVID-19 is a topic of conversation more than we would like and it is inevitable that this peak season will look different than the norm . Please note the majority of our Club Events , Tournaments , Parties , Brunches and more will be focused around smaller groups with suitable safety precautions and social distancing . We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines as well as local government regulations .
Thanks to the community for the ongoing support . Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates !
Sincerely ,

Justin Fox
