are now clean , functional and brighter spaces . There was also a large curved wall at the driveway entrance to the centre which blocked the view to the shops and didn ’ t provide for pedestrian access to the site . These walls were demolished and replaced with ClearVu fencing with pedestrian gates and stairs added for safety and convenience of shoppers .
Lighting to the centre was attended to by adding good lighting to the walkways and strategic lighting to the parking areas . The tenant signs , which so often run amok when not monitored and kept in line , were all removed for the parapet walls to be plastered and painted , and for tenants to replace their signs with fresh applications all in keeping with a new signage criteria document .
The refurbishment has resulted in new stronger tenants taking up available space vacated by non-performing offerings . The branding is now stronger and in keeping with Synergy ’ s vision for their portfolio .
