safe environment . Security to the mall was greatly debated and state-of-the-art equipment supports a safe location , where customers can shop in a secure milieu . A public security office flanks the centre management offices and supports and promotes customer services .
The landscaping surrounding the building was treated with indigenous planting and blends into the neighbouring flora . External signage onto the building was restricted to certain portions of the façade and supports the toned-down vernacular theming achieved in this centre .
Lighting externally and internally focused on architectural features and entrances . All signage inside and outside had to be illuminated . The lux levels internally in the mall areas do not compete with the individual shop display areas
