The building’ s geometric layout mirrors the symmetry of adjacent structures, reinforcing visual unity across the precinct. Large, double-glazed windows and sliding louvres punctuate the façades, balancing transparency with shading. Key design elements include:
• White-walled architecture referencing Stellenbosch’ s historic vernacular, enriched by varied textures and tones;
• Vertically articulated, recessed openings that create dramatic shadow lines;
• Contrasting dark cores and staircases, emphasising the fragmented composition;
• Natural materials such as gabion walls, bronze accents, and timber detailing, echoing the region’ s earthy character.
