and enhancing these vistas became a guiding principle in the design of both Trumali Forum( completed in 2022) and the newly unveiled Trumali Place.
To achieve this, a 45m visual setback was introduced, complemented by a landscaped berm featuring indigenous, water-wise planting and tranquil ponds. This green belt softens the urban edge, creating a layered visual experience: a lush foreground, low-rise commercial buildings in the middle ground, and the majestic mountains beyond. The berm also acts as a natural sound buffer, while its contours frame uninterrupted view corridors to the mountains.
Architectural massing was deliberately fragmented to maintain these sightlines. Flat concrete roofs minimise visual intrusion, ensuring the buildings blend seamlessly into the landscape without exceeding the height of neighbouring structures.
