This October, bookings officially open for the Club Med South Africa Beach Resort, with the grand opening set for July 2026. With its arrival, Club Med signals an exciting new chapter for the local tourism sector, bringing innovation, global standards, and unforgettable experiences that will position South Africa firmly on the world’ s leisure travel map. The Developer of Club Med South Africa is Tinley Leisure( Pty) Ltd, an investment consortium comprised of locally based businesses that will invest in excess of R2bn towards the development of the resort. Tinley Leisure( Pty) Ltd consists of funding and equity partners from African Bank, the Industrial Development Corporation( IDC), Tinley Leisure Women’ s Investment Group and Collins Residential, as well as ABSA in its capacity as a funding partner.
