strengthens pedestrian connectivity through active ground-floor uses and direct engagement with the surrounding precinct. Its location overlooking the park, canal and piazza enables the development to play an active role in the life of the district while reinforcing Battery Park’ s function as a social and spatial anchor within the Canal District.
The architecture maximises outward-facing apartments with views towards Table Mountain, Table Bay, Signal Hill, the marina and the city, while a landscaped internal courtyard provides a protected green environment at the heart of the building. This balance between urban engagement and residential retreat was central to the design approach.
