The redevelopment therefore prioritised clarity, legibility and emotional connection over excessive architectural gesture.
The result is an environment intended to feel more human as the architecture moves away from
the anonymous‘ white box’ model typical of many shopping centres and instead embraces a more layered and community orientated approach.
