LEFT: Building before redevelopment
Reinventing the Corner Perhaps the most visible architectural intervention occurs at the prominent corner of Cape Road and First Avenue. Previously characterised by a collection of roof junctions and fragmented forms, the corner has been transformed into a clean and elegant focal point. A curved glazed element now mediates between the existing structure and the new extension, thereby creating a distinctive architectural marker visible from multiple approaches.
This intervention serves both aesthetic and functional purposes. Internally, it accommodates key tenant spaces, including a canteen area with
