Environmental Efficiency With the world moving ever more towards ‘ greening ’, the need for optimum energy efficiency within a limited budget was paramount . The building has been fitted with auto-dimming , low energy lighting to ensure an optimal blend
of natural and supplementary lighting , while movement sensors deactivate lights in unused areas . External shading over the office façades maximises natural light penetration while minimising solar heat gain to ensure minimum load on the HVAC system .
The client ’ s commitment to environmental efficiency further demonstrated itself with the specification of waterless urinal and low water use toilets .
