Augmented Reality (AR) App
A first in the world for street lighting applications
BEKA Schréder’s App is the first in the world to use augmented reality to prove the principles of street lighting, by
allowing the user to see the difference in photometry relating to optics. The AR App allows users in remote areas to
see and interact with BEKA Schréder products, as if they were really there in front of them, without the need for a
physical sample.
What the BEKA Schréder App provides:
> The App allows the user to augment reality, in real time, by placing scaled models of BEKA Schréder’s products and
poles in any environment, indoors and outdoors.
> It allows the user to see the difference in photometry regarding optics, by switching these products on and off in the
augmented reality environment.
> It allows the user to zoom in on special features of the products to view finer details.
> It allows the user to take a snapshot of the augmented reality scene, and instantly e-mail the image.
