is added as linear brick fins that visually make it look less squat . These fins not only break up the façade but work as shading devices , specifically to the east and west of the building .
The large overhang with its three-storey tree like columns is a direct interpretation of the first phase and establishes a magnificent entrance . Under this overhang , stained timber is used to soften and provide warmth . This is pulled through to the interior of the building , and with its large glazed entrance , creates a flow between interior and exterior .
Interior A naturally lit triple volume atrium connects all the office floors visually as you enter the building . The floor edges of each level are stepped back by 1,5m per level to create a staggered atrium that widens towards the top . Glass balustrades and shopfronts overlook this space .
The feature timber slatted ceiling is pulled from the exterior of the large overhang to the interior . The same applies to the brick patterns that connect and bind the exterior to the interior . The reception lobby to the offices acts to separate the entrance to the gym as this was an earlier requirement .
The offices share the common areas and elegantly designed bathrooms that match the dark tones of the theme . Shades of black and grey are elegantly offset against the copper toned brick , the warmer matted timber doors and the white tiles on the walls . This is done with patterning throughout .
