The result is a five storey triangular building with a central courtyard with a focus on the use of natural materials such as exposed concrete , face brick , steel , glass and timber .
Basement parking was not an option due to the amount of stone in the area , which was already a challenge during the excavation for the foundation .
The cast concrete façade curves , on the northern and south western edge , act as bookends to the main façade and soften the triangular shape of the building . Tall narrow windows situated within the bookends accentuate the curve and also serve to limit harsh sunlight from entering without totally blocking off the light . In contrast large glazed
