Target Market The target market for the building necessitated a variety of approaches . The aim of the developer was to create affordable apartments that were of a very high-quality finish , and by doing this , three very important buyer groups would be covered :
1 . First-time buyers who wanted to live close to work with a hassle-free lifestyle , in a fully serviced building , with cleaning , laundry , room service and various other services available .
2 . The investor who largely wanted to take advantage of the short-term rental market but didn ’ t want to manage the units himself . To facilitate this a partnership was entered into with a hotel operator who manages the units across various hotel platforms , as well as furnished longstay units to maximise the return for buyers .
3 . People who commute into the city from up to an hour away and back in the evening , looking to spend two to three nights a week in the city so as to not spend their lives commuting . They would also be able to take advantage of short-term rentals when not using the apartment over weekends .
Accommodation The Rockefeller consists of 396 apartments over 19 storeys . The design also incorporated a rooftop pool bar area with a retractable glass roof for the pool , a conference centre , gym , coworking offices and ground floor retail area that
