SANITANA IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN MARKET
Sanitana is a producer of bath related products , with a specialisation both in sanitaryware and acrylic and composite products . Founded in 1979 and based in Anadia , Portugal , Sanitana has been part of the Roca Group since 2000 . Since its inception , when the focus was based exclusively on the production of sanitary ware , Sanitana now boasts a complete bathroom offering including toilets , washbasins , bathroom furniture , mirrors faucets , bathroom accessories , bathtubs , whirlpools , shower trays , shower enclosures , shower cabins and other types of shower systems .
In an effort to make its range of products more adaptable to modern bathroom needs , in the last few years Sanitana has been expanding its industrial division ; producing composite products , such as the ones made out of solid surfaces . The Velvet washbasin collection is one of the more recent examples of solid surface products made by Sanitana . A flexible and ultramodern collection , it is composed of both wall-mounted and recessed washbasins , with a range that goes from 60cm up to 160cm of length . These washbasins also allow for three vat positions ( left , centered or right ) and the options of having built-in tap holes and towel holders . This venture is gaining momentum as these types of products allow for not only bigger sizes compared to those of sanitaryware but also the possibility of customisation - something that is increasingly expected of modern products . Nowadays Sanitana produces not only washbasins , but also shower trays and bathtubs in solid surfaces , and in the near future plans to launch shower columns and shower cabins in the same material .
