MEASURE FROM PDF DRAWINGS WITH QUICKSCALE SOFTWARE
QuickScale is for taking areas and measurements off PDF drawings . Click on the points and corners of the areas and measurements on the drawing and QuickScale will calculate the dimensions . If the drawing is not to scale , plot one known measurement like a door width and QuickScale will calculate the scale of the drawing . Print the drawing to scale with the dimensions and / or export dimensions to a spreadsheet . QuickScale will measure from photos and DWG drawings as well . The software is designed to be simple and easy to use . Licences are purchased outright and there are no annual renewals . Help and support is free . Licences are either downloaded onto a Windows PC or on a USB stick . We guarantee USB ’ s for 10 years . USB deliveries are currently taking 4 weeks to arrive in South Africa but you could either provide your own USB and we will help you install QuickScale onto it , or we can email you a temporary licence while you wait for the USB to arrive . Waterless Product A standard concrete roof tile mix consists of 11.42 % water addition , thus for every square metre of roof 5.4 litres of clean drinking water is used . In addition , concrete needs to remain moist during curing which requires yet more water . The Harvey EcoTile ® product requires no water , in fact moisture is extracted from the mineral to manufacture the product . It is also the ideal roof tile for water harvesting as it absorbs less than 0.36 % of its weight in water ( compared to 6-10 % for concrete tiles ).
Green is Not Enough Harvey EcoTile ® is engineered for superior functional performance in its intended use . The lightweight roof tiles are precision engineered with an interlocking design to eliminate gaps , making the completed roof 100 % weatherproof . It withstands gale force wind , UV rays , rain , hail and dust and is virtually unbreakable once installed . Future maintenance is also minimised as all roof elements ( such as ridge caps ) provide a precision fit for a maintenance-free seal .
