With the new building sharing a street façade with the existing Media Quarter building , it was important to keep a continuation in materials and colour scheme .
Access The building has three access points : the main reception on the street corner of De Smit and
Rawbone Street , the parking entrance on De Smit Street and finally , internal access into the Media Quarter building . Due to strict security every person visiting the building will need to first circulate to the reception on the second floor . Via the security-controlled lifts , residents and visitors can access the various floors .
The lift landings are strategically placed next to the main light well to ensure a pleasant experience is created when exiting the lifts . All residential units have their front doors directly onto the central passage which circulates around the main light well and terminates in a cul-de-sac at the end of the building .
