interceptors are sent directly to the Municipal
Sewer line.
The waste water from hand wash basins,
showers, floor drains, service sinks and air
handling units floor drains are sent to a grey
water storage tank with a capacity of 360m3.
From this tank the water is pumped through a
filtration system and then stored in a 36m3 grey
water storage tank. The filtered grey water is
KPMG Phase II
then distributed to the WC pans and urinals
via a separate booster pump system.
External Views
Since the site is located on the top of the western
portion of the Parktown Ridge, the brief from
KPMG was to provide a building that maximized
the external views.
