were adjusted to the point that the extent
of vision glazing was maximized without
exceeding rational HVAC cost allowances.
As environmental concerns were also a key
consideration in both owner responsibility as
well as tenant attractiveness, the design of
the façade initially employed energy-saving
measures such as aluminium light shelves
within the façade glazing system, which
reflect transmitted light into the deep space
on the floor plates, effectively contributing to
reduced life cycle costs.
