The Build In terms of the ‘build’ element of Conduit’s design-and-build offering, this wing was gutted by the outgoing tenant and handed over to Conduit Interior as a “grey-box”. Namely it comprised a bare concrete shell and perimeter windows only. Conduit managed the installation of everything from the drywalling systems, ceilings, electrical, aircon, lighting, network, fire systems, as well as the joinery, finishings and furniture. Skybound were so happy with the result that they decided to refresh the entirety of their existing offices to bring them up to the standards that Conduit created in the new wing. The Design The first port of call for a visitor is Skybound’s reception, where they’re met by a quirky angular reception desk giving the first hint of Skybound’s individuality in the marketplace. A bespoke lighting feature floats above the waiting area softening the space to create a warm welcoming pod for brief pauses and introductions. Just beyond reception, the Bloomberg terminal provides the analysts with ready access to fast-paced information, as well as 64 skybound Capital
