Materials The carpets were selected according to sustainability criteria and flooring by Interface was chosen to meet the brief. Fabrics were selected for their durability, colour and texture with rub counts on fabrics taken into consideration.
The colour palette was clean and fresh, consisting of white, grey and a splash of colour. Accent colours used were blues, greens and oranges. Various wallpapers were used to match carpets and bring colour onto the vertical surfaces.
Graphic elements in canteens and print stations were custom designed and manufactured and designed to bring the history of their old space into the new space.
Texture was introduced through different mediums – carpets, vinyl flooring, glass partitioning, different types of fabrics, desk spaces( hard and white) Textures in carpets and seating areas softened what could have been a white interior with the large number of desks in the space.
