aesthetic expression of the brand, Pure Design developed a
scheme that seamlessly married these three requirements.
Steering away from an austere corporate reception, J&J
GPH provides a warm and welcoming feeling with woodlook vinyl flooring, timber wall cladding, sheer curtaining and
upholstered furniture offset against a touch of the Johnson &
Johnson signature red.

Resisting any cliché interpretation of Africa, they created a
sense of place through the introduction of various textures such
a raw timber, wood-look vinyl flooring and textural wallpaper as
well as a palette of soft earthy tones ranging from warm greys to
sandy neutrals throughout the interior. Helping to tell the division’s
story is a 10m long corridor adorned with large format photos of
the people, places and products of J&J GPH.
Their elegant spatial solutions and subtle yet distinctly African
decor scheme so impressed the client that they are likely to be
involved in the rollout of the divisions offices elsewhere on the
continent, including Kenya and Ghana.
