Conceptualised by Paragon Interface , and fitted out by Trend Group , the design was driven by 2U ’ s strong brand and culture . Following 2U ’ s 2017 acquisition of GetSmarter it was key for the design to showcase the new 2U brand and combined company cultures . 2U ’ s new brand identity brought together the pink ( GetSmarter ) and blue ( 2U ) corporate colours of the two companies ; and the interior design reflects the 2U brand evolution while recognising the contribution of the South African staff to 2U ’ s global brand .
Due to the nature of their work , the project was approached differently to most corporate offices . This was to be their new workspace ecosystem which promotes culture and collaboration , focus and fun by providing a diverse collection of spaces that :
• Incorporate leading global workplaces strategies that drive communication and collaboration between all business units .
• Promote company culture and guiding principles .
• Utilise technology for a global connection .
